Tournament Rules

Welcome to the PlayBowl 2024 Tournament Series

You will be competing in 18 Matches in day 1. 6 Matches against each group (4 groups, including your own). All 18 matches will be in 1 scoreboard. The top 30 teams (out of 60) move on to the finals Day 2. If you cannot commit to playing all 18 matches day 1, and an unknown number of matches on day 2, do not register. Leaving early without proper justification will result in being blacklisted for future SharePlay tournaments.

Check In

Will take place on the SharePlay website the morning of the tournament. Team captains must check their teams in. If you don't check in, you cannot compete.

Check In

opens at 10 am EST and closes at 12 pm EST. If more than 60 teams check in, players who checked in earlier will have priority. Last minute check ins will have a fill spot in case of DC's

Server will be Iowa to ensure fair and stable connections across the US.

Be sure your contact information is up to date on the SharePlay website and you have proper roles in the SharePlay Discord server to get lobby codes.

How PlayBowl Will Be Organized

To ensure a fair and fun competition, all players will be asked a series of questions OR be required to log in with their EA username. Lying or attempting to mislead tournament staff on the registration form will result in forfeiture of all prize winnings, past and current, AND will result in litigation to reclaim any and all tournament winnings paid out to the players.

You must use YOUR account, registered with your name and email address

Account must be a minimum level of 250, and not be purchased or boosted

Account must have been ranked for all 3 of the last 3 seasons

You must disclose the highest level Apex Legends competition you have participated in honestly and truthfully, at any point in the span of Apex Legends Servers being live.

You must disclose the highest rank you have achieved at any point.

You must provide screenshots when requested, unaltered and from YOUR main account

No alts or smurfs will be permitted to register. You must use the account you have played the most.

Account sharing of any kind is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be using an account that is not your own, both parties will be forced to forfeit all past prize winnings and the misuse of the account will be reported to EA for further action.

You will be required to disclose your KD Ratio. Misleading or Untruthful responses are prohibited.

Players are strongly encouraged to report any suspicious activity that goes against these rules directly to tournament moderators.

Violating any of these rules will result in an immediate ban from the tournament for the entire team, ban from all future SharePlay tournaments, and forfeiture of all past tournament winnings.

There are no "warnings", no second chances will be given, and no appeal process. By entering this tournament, you have agreed to these terms and conditions.

15 Teams per Group
Each group will play against the other groups for 6 matches a piece, for a total of 18 matches.

Eliminations: 1 Point
1st: 12 Points
2nd: 9 Points
3rd: 7 Points
4th: 5 Points
5th: 4 Points
6th-7th: 3 Points
8th-10th: 2 Points
11th-15th: 1 Point

Top 30 Teams from the accumulated scores of Day 1 (all 18 Matches) move on to finals

Match Point Format
50 Point Threshold

Match Point Scoring

Teams must reach a 50 point threshold THEN win a game in the following matches. Reaching the threshold and winning the match in the same game does not mean you win. The next match after reaching the threshold is eligible for a win
Standard BR Scoring
There is no match limit in the Finals
Once a Team reaches the minimum total points of 50 in the Finals, The next match becomes "Match Point Eligible" for that team.
The first team to win a match after they are "Match Point Eligible" is declared the winner.
After the winner is declared, 2nd-20th are ranked by total Finals points.
There is no limit to the number of teams who can be "Match Point Eligible
Map rotation will be 2 World's Edge, 2 Storm Point, repeat until the tournament is finished
